Applicants and Winners will grow and develop as artists themselves by participating in the 30th Young Artists Debut! program. Some of the key features of our expanded program include the following:

• Access to Master Classes with renowned musicians.

• Performances and community outreach opportunities for participants.

• Exclusive invitations to attend two Concerts:

  • “Meet the Artists" Concert in March or April.

  • 30th Young Artists Debut! Concerto Concert at The Reser.

• Feedback from a panel of classical music experts.​

• Two free tickets to attend the Concerto Concert.

Myriad benefits are available to Winners including private coaching sessions with Cognizart's Conductor, a professional photo shoot & headshot, and, most importantly, the ability to make their Debut! performing a concerto accompanied by a full orchestra!

Your teachers have helped develop your skills to this level, and we will rely on them to help prepare you for these incredible opportunities to perform and grow as artists throughout the program. Verify that they are willing to help you in this journey to grow as a virtuoso!

 

AGE LIMIT:

Instrumentalists: up to age 18 on January 8, 2023

Vocalists: up to age 21

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS: 

• Text your “Intent to Apply” to (503) 245-4885 and include your:

  • Name, age, instrument, and email address.

• A completed and submitted online Application Form.

• Email kelsey@metroartsinc.org with subject line "YAD! Applicant (your name)":

  • Link to audio recording in  .mp3 or .wav format.

  • Repertoire List in PDF format.

  • Biography of 150 words or less, example in the Application Form.

• Pay the $100 Application Fee via PayPal here.​
